Teachers can retrieve or change student passwords. In the Teacher Dashboard, select a class to display your Student Roster. At the right of the each student's name is their current password which can be uncovered by hovering the mouse over the stars.
You can change this password, and any other information including language for the student, by selecting the student's name. In the new pop up window, you can change the student's name, password, ID, assignment, grade level, or language.
All students enrolled in the class will use the classroom teacher's username for access to the program.
If students encounter login issues such as "invalid/incorrect password" errors, it often indicates problems with the manual login process. To address this:
Ensure that students log in through the Student tab on the ExploreLearning platform.
Verify the teacher’s username being used for their login. Students should input their teacher's username along with their unique password.
Remind students to avoid using their personal usernames; otherwise, login errors will occur.
For districts using Single Sign-On (SSO), students can log in via applications like the ClassLink SSO app for a streamlined process:
Open the district’s SSO application and access the ExploreLearning app.
Once on the Gizmos landing screen, follow any prompts like selecting “I am new” to complete the setup. This method eliminates the need for separate teacher usernames and passwords, making it efficient for districts with centralized login systems.
