Your district has implemented single sign-on and auto-rostering services with ExploreLearning to provide a more seamless and integrated experience.

If you previously had a Gizmos, Reflex, Frax or Science4Us account, you may notice the following changes:

  • Access to Your ExploreLearning Teacher Account is Only Available Through Your School's Launchpad or Portal

  • The Auto-Rostering Process Updates Student Account Information

  • Ability to Manually Create Classes

  • Your Rostered Classes and Class Rosters are Managed by the District*

Access to Your ExploreLearning Teacher Account is Only Available Through Your School's Launchpad or Portal
To access your account, you must log in through your school’s launchpad or portal by clicking on the ExploreLearning icon. Please refrain from accessing your account via our websites to prevent complications or inaccuracies in your rostered class list.

The first time you log in through your school’s portal or launchpad, you will go through a one-time registration process to connect your school account to an ExploreLearning Teacher Account.

Important: Your students cannot access the Reflex or Frax Student App until you log in to your relative Teacher Account via your school portal and provide student assignments.
You are still responsible for setting students' assignments in your rostered or manually created classes.

The Auto-Rostering Process Updates Student Account Information
Student accounts are handled by the auto-rostering process and your district, including account creation and profile changes. Students' names and ID numbers can no longer be changed within your Teacher Account. If you find any incorrect student information, please request your district's IT support staff corrects the student data.

You can still change the Reflex and Frax Student App language for students by clicking their name in your Class Roster.

Ability to Manually Create Classes
You can manually add classes to your Class List and add rostered students to these classes.
To create a new Non-Rostered Class, go to the Class Management screen by selecting Manage Students from your Teacher Dashboard.
Next, click on the Class Name to display the Classes drop-down menu.
Select Add Class.

You will enter the desired class name for your manually created classes and can manually add co-teachers.

Please Note: You can only add or remove students from the school roster to your manually created classes. You will not be able to create new students.

Your Rostered Classes and Class Rosters are Managed by the District*

*Please note: This is an optional feature. Please contact your district to verify if your classes and class rosters will be auto-rostered in Reflex, Frax and/or Science4us (depending on your subscription).

Your rostered classes and associated class rosters will be automatically populated into your ExploreLearning Teacher Account.

Rostered classes are indicated by a double arrow beside the class name and a notation of 'Rostered Class' above the Class Roster.

You will not be able to add or remove students from your rostered class or change the class name.
If a student is missing from your Class Roster or was placed in the wrong class, please contact your district’s IT support staff to have them update the rostering files.
