Your district has implemented single sign-on and auto-rostering services with ExploreLearning to provide a more seamless and integrated experience.
This means you will log in to your Gizmos, Reflex, Frax and/or Science4Us account (depending on your subscription) through your school’s launchpad or portal, where you will click on our product icon to log in automatically. For example, common SSO platforms include ClassLink and Clever, which simplify the login process.
**Please note: The first-time log in experience is the same whether your account has access to one or multiple ExploreLearning products.
Please refrain from accessing your account via our website to prevent complications or inaccuracies in the rostering process. Misalignments in rostering systems like Clever can occur when accounts are accessed outside the district's authorized method, resulting in data visibility issues and incorrect account roles. If you notice that your students or classes are missing or incorrect, re-login through your district's SSO platform to ensure your account is properly synced.
Now that your district is rostered, the first time you log in through your school's launchpad or portal, you will arrive on our landing page to begin the one-time linking process to connect your school account to an ExploreLearning Teacher Account. Accessing our products through your school’s launchpad or portal is the most reliable and convenient way to log in.
Follow these steps:
1. Access your district's SSO platform such as ClassLink or Clever.
2. Click the ExploreLearning app.
3. During the first login, either link your existing account or create a new one for proper roster association.
This article will cover two different registration scenarios:
Link An Existing Teacher Account
Register as a New ExploreLearning Teacher
Scenario 1: Link An Existing Teacher Account If you have an existing Gizmos, Reflex, Frax or Science4Us teacher account you want to link, select Login With My Existing Account. Proper account linking ensures that all your classes, students, and school details are correctly associated with your district's data.
Enter your associated credentials, then select Login.
Once you have connected your school account with an ExploreLearning Teacher Account, you will be redirected to the Product Launcher Page where you will see subscription access and rostered classes.
Selecting a Product will launch the corresponding 'Teacher Dashboard' for each product on your account. Selecting a class will launch the class management tools for that specific class.
Scenario 2: Registering as a New ExploreLearning Teacher
From the landing page, select I Am New To ExploreLearning to register as a new teacher.
You will be asked to create a username and password for your new ExploreLearning teacher account. Your account will have access to the products specified by your school or district's subscription.
Please note
Your students will use your created username to log in. It should be something that students can type and remember.
As a secondary method, your ExploreLearning credentials will allow you to access your account from outside of your school portal.
Click Login to connect your accounts. You will be automatically redirected to the Product Launcher Page, where you will see product subscriptions and rostered classes.
Selecting a Product will launch the corresponding 'Teacher Dashboard' for each product on your account. Selecting a class will launch the class management tools for that specific class.
Important: Your students cannot access the Gizmos, Reflex, Frax, or Science4Us Student App (depending on your subscription) until you log in to your teacher account via your school portal and provide student assignments.
You are still responsible for setting students' assignments in your rostered and manually created classes.
If you encounter missing classes or incorrect details, log in through your district's SSO portal and follow the on-screen prompts to ensure correct data synchronization.
Teacher Classes Not Visible to School Administrators Post-Transfer: If classes are not visible to administrators after a teacher transfer, ensure the teacher's account is linked to the district roster and the login method aligns with the district's authorized system.
Misalignment Between Roles in Clever and ExploreLearning Accounts: Administrators should verify role assignments in Clever to confirm users are assigned as teachers, not as staff, to avoid administrative account limitations.
