The Progress Tree is a visual indicator of how many fact families a student has mastered.

During the third Reflex session, Crabby helps each student plant an acorn on Reflex Island. The tree grows larger as the student’s fluency grows. Once the tree reaches a certain size (usually after about 10 green light sessions and mastery of 21 fact families), the student can customize it with purchases from the Reflex Store.

Clicking the Check Progress button next to the Progress Tree brings up a cross-section view of the tree. Each ring in the cross section depicts the fluent fact families that have fueled the tree’s growth.
