Reflex provides a powerful reporting system that helps you monitor students’ usage, track their progress, and reward their achievements. There are two kinds of reports:
Individual Reports that provide detail on an individual student
Class Reports that provide summary data on a class
To access student reports, click the appropriate class from your Teacher Dashboard and then click Individual Reports. Bookmark a report to quickly return to it. Five reports are available on the Individual Reports sub-menu: Overview, Fact Detail, Milestones, Usage, and Fluency Growth.
Overview
The overview report provides a snapshot of the student’s progress. It provides school year stats for total days of usage, total facts gained, percentage of facts gained, and percentage of Green Light usage. It also shows last login and the last seven days of usage. Any student alerts are listed at the bottom.
Fact Detail
The Fact Detail report shows which facts a student knows and doesn’t know. This report is available in both a fact family pyramid and a traditional “fact grid” format. Use the drop-down menu at the upper left to select the format. Arrows at the upper right allow you to change the date and see how a student’s fluency has changed over time.
Milestones
The Milestones report shows an individual student’s milestones (such as total facts solved). Each milestone can be printed or downloaded as a certificate. All milestones are calculated from the beginning of the school year only. Milestone reports for the class or multiple students are available in Class Reports.
Usage Detail
The Usage Detail report displays the date, duration, and Green Light status of a student’s Reflex session. Multiple Reflex sessions from the same day are represented by bars of differing colors. Hover over a bar to display a tooltip with the data. Below the graph are statistics on total days of usage, percentage of Green Light sessions, average weekly usage and minutes per day, and total facts solved. Use the calendar drop-down menu at the upper right to change the date range (default is last 14 days).
Fluency Growth
The Fluency Growth report provides at-a-glance visual representation of a student’s progress towards fluency during a given date range. The graph shows fluency gained or the total number of fluent facts over time. You can also superimpose usage data on the fluency data. Use the calendar drop-down menu at the upper right to change the date range (default is last 14 days).
Reports use the student’s current assignment. To see a previous assignment, use the drop-down menu below their name to change the report. Student reports are shown for the current school year only.
Print or download any individual report by clicking the Print Icon on the report screen. A print preview will appear. Use the menu to choose your print settings and print (or save as PDF). Use the checkboxes on the left to print reports for multiple students at once.
