The school year start date is designed to give educators a clear view of the students they are teaching in the current school year without prior historical data.
There are three main things that occur when the school year start date set passes:
All group milestones are reset and start new
All group reports are reset and start new
Individual reports default to show only the current school year; complete student usage detail is still available if you change the report criteria to show First to Last Login
The school year start date is set by an administrator during account set-up. To see the date or edit, log in with your administrator account, select the School Settings gear icon in the upper right corner.
Use the dropdown menus to set the correct date.
**Check Allow Teachers to Enroll Students if you want to allow them to add and delete students.**
