Linking student accounts with SSO in Gizmos

As your district has implemented Single Sign-On (SSO) services for Gizmos, you will login to your school’s launchpad or portal and click on the Gizmos or ExploreLearning icon to login automatically.
Accessing Gizmos through your school’s launchpad or portal is the most reliable and convenient way to login.

The first time you access Gizmos from your portal or launchpad, you will arrive on our linking page, where you will go through a one-time registration process to connect your school account to a Gizmos account.
After you have connected your school account to Gizmos, you will go directly to your class enrollment list or an individual class page in Gizmos.

This article will cover two different registration scenarios:

  1. Linking an Existing Gizmos Student Account

  2. Registering as a New Gizmos Student

Scenario 1: Linking an Existing Gizmos Student Account

On the ExploreLearning linking page, enter your Gizmos username and password, then select Login.

Scenario 2: Registering as a New Gizmos Student


To create a new Gizmos student account, you must have a class code provided by your teacher. If you do not have your class code, please request this information from your teacher.

Once you have your class code, select Register a New Account on the ExploreLearning linking page.

You will be asked to fill out a Student Registration Form on the next page, including creating a Gizmos username and password. Your credentials will allow you to access Gizmos from outside of your school portal as a secondary method.

Place your Class Code on the last line of your form, and select Submit to create your Gizmos student account.
