    5. Select your Duration or choose from a calendar → Next

      1. The user is provided options for predetermined durations (ex: 3 days, 1 week) or they can choose “custom” which will reveal a calendar datepicker that will allow them to choose any date for the end date.

      2. The end date must be at least the next day, and cannot be the same day as the start date.

    6. Choose your Class

      3. Additionally, the class list can be customized to exclude specific students as needed.

  • Who can I challenge to a Competition?

    • You can challenge any teacher at your school who has access to Reflex!

    • When filling out the form to create a new competition, the user has the ability to invite other teachers to join the competition.

    • The teachers that appear in the dropdown list are only teachers at the same school as the user and who have relevant product access.

    • When a teacher is invited to join a competition, they will receive an email with that invite. The invite will also appear on their competition dashboard.

  • What’s the difference between a Class and a Team?

    • When customizing a team, a teacher has the option to exclude individual students as needed.

      • You can add a class to a competition. That class will become your team for the competition.

      • You can customize your team by creating a fun and spirited team name. Each team can be further customized with an avatar and color theme.

  • How can I track the progress of my Competition(s)?

    • Student data will be collected every night between the start and end dates. The individual student data will be used to formulate the daily score for each team.

    • When a Competition is in progress, you’ll be able to see a detailed class leaderboard as well as a detailed student leaderboard.

    • The number of Green Lights for each student is accumulated for each day of the competition, and then divided by the total number of students on each team.

  • What happens if my Competition has Expired?

    • If your Competition has expired, that means that no other team joined it on the start date. Don’t worry; you can reschedule it.
