Helix Support Chat User Experience

How use our chat support

  • Log in to your user account. Teacher or Administrator accounts are supported by Helix Chat.

  • Look for the Headphone Icon at the bottom right of the screen

  • Clicking the Icon will open a window with selections

    • Live chat

    • Announcements

    • ExploreLearning Help Centers

  • Selecting Live Chat will open a secondary menu

    • Send us a message

    • Search the Help Center

    • Visit the Educator Hub

  • The top of the screen will show avatar icons for available live agents

  • Send us a message will initiate a chat window

  • Chat window will display our privacy disclaimer and have button options to route your inquiry.

  • Selecting I have a question or issue will prompt you to choose a product to better help our team assist you.

  • Select your product

  • Ask your question

  • Review the answer provided, and links to relevant sources

  • Confirm the answer helped or ask to be connected to an agent.

  • Selecting That helped will close the conversation

  • Selecting Get More Help will open prompts for additional questions or connecting to a live agent for chat

  • Connecting with an agent will pair you with a live specialist with your chat history and available account details to help quickly identify and resolve issues.

  • After your issue is resolved via chat through Helix or a live agent you will be prompted to rate your experience
