Verify system capabilities for supporting our products:
Reflex, Frax, Science4Us and Gizmos run on devices with the following recommended settings:
All (PC, Mac, Chromebook, iPad and Android tablets)
Web Browser: The latest versions of Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or Safari
Sound capability
Display Size: 1024 x 768 or higher
Reflex and Frax for iPad App and Safari:
iPad 5th generation or newer; iPad mini 4th generation or newer; iPad Air 2 or newer; and iPad Pro (all). 32-bit devices are not supported.
The Reflex and Frax apps are compatible with iOS versions 11 and newer.
Gizmos Requirements
Gizmos will run on any browser or device. For the best experience, we recommend the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.
Sound Capability
Display Size: 1024 x 768 or higher
3D Gizmos
A few Gizmos make use of 3D-rendering.
Certain older Chromebooks do not support WebGL, the library needed for 3D-rendering.
STEM Case Requirements
STEM Cases require more system resources than Gizmos.
PC or Chromebook: A system with at least 2GB of RAM, 4GB or more is recommended.
iPad: iPad 5th Generation (iPad Air, iPad Mini 2, or any iPad released after 2013) running iOS 11.0 or better.
Currently, the 9th-generation iPad does not meet the minimum requirements due to a lack of system resources.
Android tablet: Android OS version 7 or better.
Across all systems, STEM Cases require an up-to-date version of Chrome, Safari, or Mozilla Firefox.
STEM Cases will not run on Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge
